Day 1 Focus: Europe

The UK North Sea has been producing oil for the past 50 years, with the industry adding upwards of £25 billion to the UK economy each year. But the sector is at a crossroads following a period of sustained uncertainty amid the government’s mandate to transition away from fossil fuels. The shape of the industry’s future will be mapped out this year following consultations on fiscal rules, emissions reporting and licensing that will bring much needed clarity to the operators, service companies and people that work across the region. Join us as we delve into what lies ahead for the UK North Sea in what promises to be a pivotal year.

Start time: 10am CEST / 9am BST / 8am GMT

Day 2 Focus: The Americas

The Americas have some of the world’s most significant offshore oil and gas reserves such as the Gulf of Mexico, Brazil’s deepwater pre-salt fields, and emerging markets areas like Guyana. The U.S. and Brazil are particularly prominent, with deepwater and ultra-deepwater fields that are crucial to global production. The panel will address environmental and regulatory pressures, the competition to attract investment, and how current geopolitical tensions and disruption could affect the drive to secure offtakers.

Start time: 10am EDT / 3pm BST / 2pm GMT

Day 3 Focus:

Middle East

Join this panel as we explore the latest oil and gas developments in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, including ambitious projects aimed at expanding gas production and advancing decarbonization efforts. We'll discuss whether current spending patterns are likely to continue and how capacity limits may impact future offshore developments in the region.

Start time: 10am GST / 7am BST / 6am GMT

Southern Africa

Southern Africa is emerging as a major energy hotspot, with Namibia’s offshore oil discoveries reshaping the region’s industry and South Africa advancing its upstream potential. This panel will dive into the latest developments, investment opportunities, and challenges, offering a closer look at the future of one of the world’s most exciting oil and gas frontiers.

Start time: 8.40am SAST / 7.40am BST / 6.40am GMT

Day 4 Focus: Asia Pacific

Many of the key offshore fields in the Asia-Pacific region lie in deepwater and ultra-deepwater zones. As a result, companies operating in the region must invest in advanced drilling technologies and infrastructure, such as floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) units, subsea systems, and deepwater rigs. In addition, many Asia-Pacific countries, particularly China, India, and Japan, are heavily reliant on imported oil and gas to meet their energy needs. This reliance has led to increased efforts to explore and develop domestic offshore resources to improve energy security and reduce dependence on foreign imports. The panel will address the core opportunities and challenges in the region as nations invest to scale up their output for future decades.

Start time: 10am SGT / 3am BST / 2am GMT

Day 5 Focus: The Role of CCUS in Achieving Global Industrial Decarbonisation

Carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) is emerging as a critical tool for reducing industrial emissions while supporting energy security and economic growth. This panel will explore the latest advancements, key projects, and policy frameworks driving CCUS deployment in the global push for industrial decarbonization.

Start time: 10am BST / 11am CEST / 9am GMT

The event agenda is based on extensive research with key stakeholders from across the value chain and is an evolving project that is subject to constant review. As our events are designed to provide the best value for time to our speakers and delegates, we aim to tackle the most topical and important subjects. To achieve this we must also acknowledge recent changes in the market and may therefore alter the agenda accordingly during the run-up to the event. Confirmed speakers will be updated on this page periodically so check back soon for the latest.
